Do we want to attend this year's gala on Sunday 4th September.
Further discussion of traffic problems, and in particular whether to decide on and push for a specific traffic measure following our traffic survey results, the draft publication of proposals for The Wheel, the EPC's support of additional traffic control measures, and our petition to Sheffield City Council.
Interpretation Board. Who is going to take charge of the project? What style of board would we like? What to put on the board? Where to site the board? Who to approach to provide artwork and narrative? Where to apply for funding (PB has said that he understands that 3 quotations are needed to apply for funding from "East Peaks").

Nigel Ball, emailed to say that he had only read about the Bradbury's planning application at 22:00 on the night of our last meeting, and expressed regret that he had been unable to give us an account of why he thought the owner had not shown good custodianship of the land, and to say that he did not feel that the development was likely to be appropriate.
We received an email from Miss Morrell asking us whether the Bradburys workshop is within the Conservation Area. We replied with our agreement, and a link to the SCC map showing it as such. Miss Morrell also appeared to have asked on the public comment site - http://ecclesfield.wikia.com/wiki/Conservation, whether the Conservation Group was opposed. Replying as JimP, I said that it had not passed a resolution on that application.
South Yorkshire Police Authority are offering ABC Grants for project which address anti-social behaviour, improve public confidence and satisfaction, enhance community safety, or tackle crime. Deadline 2011-04-29.
The High Green History Club is asking people to bring photographs, keepsakes, souvenirs and memories to their meeting at the Miners Welfare Hall, Angram Road of 2011-04-21 (Thursday) at 13:00.
East Peak Industrial Heritage Support Programme has organised a presentation at St. John's Community Centre in Penistone on Saturday 14th May 2011, from 1pm to 4pm.

.There will be no "Small Grants" from the Northern Assembly or SCC this year. There are however "You Choose" Grants, for which the deadline for applications is 2011-05-03.
Police cameras should have been on A6135 Ecclesfield Road / Chapeltown Road, week commencing 2011-04-11.
