Ecclesfield Parish Council supported the objections to the planning application for the old Trinity Methodist Church. http://www.ecclesfield-pc.gov.uk/minutes/FULL%20COPY%20OF%20MAY%202010%20MINUTES.pdf
The PACT meeting in June resulted in an extra 5 hours of foot patrols of the Ecclesfield Park area (http://neighbourhood.southyorks.police.uk/priorities/parsoncrossecclesfield/antisocialbehaviourcriminaldamage0), and may result in Antisocial Behaviour Orders. A Junior PACT meeting has taken place in Ecclesfield School, and a letter drop/questionnaire issued. Also, a Mo Cam, CCTV camera, foot and cycle patrols, and 350 Smartwater applications have been made as a response to Anti-Social behaviour and Criminal Damage on Margetson Crescent. The police have received complaints about parking on the zigzag lines outside the Co-Op on the high street, and remind people that this is a £60 fine [I've seen the traffic warden on the High St. JP]. The police have also run campaigns to get people to secure their car number plates (with the AA http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/security/number_plates.html), stop off-roading, and get people to report untaxed vehicles.
