- Report on
progress with Ladycroft Meadow
(in conjunction with Ecclesfield
in Bloom) - including a proposal to advertise the registration number of the van used to steal soil on our web site.
- Ecclesfield Gala on 5th
September 2010 - preparations for manning the stand.
- Discussion about Sheffield City Councils new "Core Strategy", and Map, and possible submission of on-line comments or attendance on 20th July at 18:00 hours in Chapeltown Library.
- Possible projects

green / stile.

Our letter
to Sheffield City Council commenting on the application to put 8 flats
in the old Methodist Chapel. Consultation expiry is 2/8/2010; and
messages concerning the proposed power station on Loicher lane.

Information watch
- The "provisional" approval, "subject to the availability
of funding" of work on the "Ecclesfield School Crossing" and "Wheel
Lane" [speed indicator] has appeared in the Northern Community Assembly Minutes. Also, the speed limits on the A61 Penistone Road are to be changed.
- Any applications for Northern Community Assembly Climate Change Grants need to be in by 13th August 2010. Small grants need to be in by 27th August, or for some local grants by 6th August 2010.
- The police say they have been concentrating on Yew Lane, St. Marys Lane, and Priory Road last week.
- Ecclesfield Parish Council are advertising for a Clerk. The closing date for applications is 30th July 2010.
- The 78 bus service axed by First, is being trialled by Stagecoach, and Service 83 is running on Sunday, all from 25th July.
