I have started a website at library.ecclesfieldgroups.com, and will put anything further which people send me their. All sorts of things are needed from a photograph of the library, to somebody with expertise in setting up a social network discussion facility. Sheffield City Council is still consulting at http://www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=138141282835 , but I am assuming that this is for the benefit of those libraries scheduled to remain open.
- There is now an epetition against a Motorway service station on Smithy Wood, at https://sheffield.moderngov.co.uk/mgepetitionlistdisplay.aspx?bcr=1
- Mr. Jack Wrigley has 30,000 pictures of Sheffield going back to 1970s (http://www.thestar.co.uk/nostalgia/retro-image-maker-who-captured-our-city-1-6196490 ). If anybody has time to liaise with him, they can ask him if he would like to see some of the Ecclesfield ones preserved and/or made available on the Internet.
